Deborah offers Storytelling Retreats and Parlour Performances for resorts, B & Bs and communities interested in hosting a storytelling event. She is able to tailor make a program or performance for each occasion.

Pathways To Telling Our Story (Two - three day plan)

Deborah acts as host and facilitator for an informal evening of swapping stories. The following day participants discover the heartbeat of their own chosen story and learn to trust their creative muse to lead the way in finding new meaning in the story. Finally everyone gathers for a story sharing in a relaxed and comfortable setting.

Seeing And Believing (One day plan)

Deborah leads the group in exploring visualization techniques so that they may let go of the words as they appear on the on the page. Seeing the characters, the surroundings and the action of the story make it come alive for the teller and the listener.

Making Contact (One hour to one day plan)

Deborah leads the group in activities and games that help focus the communication skills of the teller. Learn how to use the voice effectively, how to stand, when to move and when not move, and how to reach all the listeners in your audience.
