Deborah Dunleavy is a word connoisseur – one who loves the natural music of language and the spell it puts on the listener. She is a teller of tales, a writer of books, and a singer of songs.

Her passion for the music and the literary arts has taken her on tour to Ireland, Scotland, Singapore, China, and the United States as well as throughout Canada.

With more than 30 years in the arts, Deborah continues to push the boundaries of her creative expressions.  Inspired by the stories of seniors living in her region she produced the photo/audio exhibit, “Telling Hands”, which now can be seen on YouTube.

Deborah is librettist, poet, lyricist, author, and playwright all in one. For the Wars of 1812 celebration Deborah researched, penned and performed in her one woman show, “Battlefield Petticoats”. Her newest work is “At The Canoe Club Dance”, a one woman play that celebrates storytelling and the golden age swing.
